Shannon Doherty-Andall

Chair Sustainability Working Group

Shannon is a sustainability professional with 10 years’ experience across a wide variety of food and beverage applications. Beginning in sustainable F&B packaging for temperature-controlled B2C transport, Shannon has since expanded her scope to help businesses with issues including but not limited to manufacturing processes, emissions tracking and mitigation, water use, waste management, and sustainability strategy. As Sustainability Manager of the Australian Beverages Council, Shannon utilises her strong analytical skills, eye for detail and passion for all things sustainability to assist members in being responsible corporate citizens. In addition, Shannon interfaces with state, territory and federal governments to ensure that Australian policy enables a robust domestic circular economy. Shannon holds a High Distinction Masters (Anthropology) degree from University of Sydney, Australia and a dual Anthropology and History bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam.

Mission

The IFU Sustainability Principles provide a framework for actions leading to best practices and support a certified sustainable juice supply chain. Providing a harmonised framework for commitment, guidance, information and communication. Supporting globalising and cooperating with other initiatives. Provide an information basis for IFU members on the status quo in the global juice industry.
